So...I decided to try McDonald's iced coffee and discovered that I don't mind it. I actually kinda like it. Summer's here and it's only a buck for whatever size. This is just enough of an excuse to pick one up when I hit the library. (Ironically, McDonald's is also right across from the community gym. People running on their treadmills, looking out the giant window, hoping to see beautiful blue sky--Alas, all they see is McDonald's. Talk about motivation.) Incidentally, milk makes me gassy and thus sometimes leads to other unfortunate situations, so here's to an investment in more lactaid caplets.

I haven't been studying too much lately. I just find myself napping a lot and planning out gym routines that I never come around to doing. By the time I end up at the gym, I don't remember much and just end up biking until I feel like dying. Usually, that's a good indicator that I've done enough. Then, I vomit a little in my mouth. Right, not really. It's also been decided that it's very hot outside and perfect for exploring the neighbourhood, maybe finally seeing what that little wonton shop down the road is all about. Only, I wouldn't spend money eating that kind of stuff outside when I can just make it at home, so there goes that idea. Hm =/ Although! My mother's walked this one route to a mall in the next city and recommends I try it. The route looks very small on the map, but in reality, it would probably kill me. I will try it.

I've been searching up online comics to read, because the ones I like don't update very often anymore. It makes me want to start my own little comic series similar to Jim's Journal, although I'm sure I will neither be as funny or entertaining, but nonetheless interesting (I hope). Speaking of updating, Lev's going to start posting videos again tomorrow (Tales of Mere Existence). If you haven't already, you should really check it out.

Cheers!

Hey guys! A quick update on Bill and Chopper. They're doing pretty well. Chopper got a bath a little while earlier or something 'cause his fur is allll fluffy and soft. It's been raining a lot lately, so sometimes they look kinda down. I'm happy though, 'cause I've been seeing people get them ice water from Starbucks (it's just inside the station) and one time when it was really hot out, this girl burst into line at SB, asks for two cups of ice water and runs back out while I was still waiting for the lemonade I was getting for Bill. Turns out a lot of people care about them :) I have friends who have mentioned to me how nice Bill and Chopper are and I like hearing that. I wish there was something to be done so they don't have to sit outside all the time. Though, if Bill did manage to find some work, what will happen to Chopper? I think Bill's arthritis is getting pretty bad 'cause he hasn't been able to hang onto things (like cups). We shall see...

My bf and I just celebrated our one-year not too long ago :) We've both been busy with final exams, so it was pretty low key but perfect anyway. We had a massive amount of sushi and we went shopping, then we headed home for some movies. :)! I've been taking pictures of stuff and it's been piling up, so I thought I'd share some...
My bf was over on the island this weekend and these are stuff he brought back for me ♥ Read more...Collapse )

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed outwardly or inwardly. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up or out and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and it is now time to move on.

When people come into your life for a SEASON, it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They may bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; those things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person or people involved; and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships, and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind, but friendship is clairvoyant.

Thanks for the comments in the previous entry. I went with my bf to the skytrain station today, but Bill and Chopper weren't there. Since it's been a lot colder lately and there are snowfall warnings, I think I'll try again next week.

In other news, I have questions: What should I do with old books I don't want anymore? What's a good place to donate them to? Also, how do you like to organize your room?
